A briefing session was hosted by The Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) and the Science Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Both international and Pakistani diplomats were part of the session. Amer Hashmi, Chairman STZA explained the importance of the knowledge economy during the session. He also told the attendees about the ongoing investment opportunities in Pakistan in the technology sector.

The briefing was concluded with an interactive Question and Answer session in which members of the diplomatic corps and other Pakistani diplomats were present virtually. The session and other similar briefing sessions held by the STZA will help to increase the foreign investments in Pakistan’s technology sector and help shape the future of the tech sector in Pakistan.
