The second season of the much-anticipated docu-series “#PakistanIs” will soon be available thanks to new cooperation between Deutsche Welle (DW) and Pakistan’s fastest-growing streaming service, STARZPLAY.
The second season of #PakistanIs is the sixth joint series produced by DW and STARZPLAY. The first seasons of the preceding five series—HER: Women in Asia, HER: Women in Asia season 2, Unseen, Art-See-Asia, and #PakistanIs—all received rave reviews and immediately rose to the top of the platform’s viewer favorites list.
Polish YouTuber Eva Zu Beck traveled around Pakistan in the first season of #PakistanIs and discussed the country’s natural beauty, rich culture, and diversity.
The series revealed many facets of our nation, leaving viewers in awe of the featured themes as well as the untapped ability and potential of the Pakistani population.
Season 2 of #PakistanIs has shown Pakistan and its numerous tales in a fresh way.
Patangeer, Muzamil Hasan, Girl with Green Passport (Anam Hakeem), Azaz Ahmed, Guddu Pakistani, and the hip-hop dance crew “EXD” are just a few of the well-known local content creators that team up to tell their own tales and highlight what Pakistan is all about.
The production showcases both the beautiful aspects of Pakistan and the lives of Pakistanis by having well-known Pakistani influencers host the episodes of the series. Viewers will get a true sense of what Pakistan is: majestic, youthful, distinctive, and inviting.
According to Sukena Rizvi, Digital Distribution Executive for Deutsche Welle in Pakistan, “Sharing the most significant and distinctive stories from Pakistan with the world has been a primary aim of ours from day one.”
“We have always worked to support local creatives and content producers, and this series only serves to highlight Pakistan’s wealth of talent. Additionally, we anticipate seeing more of these stories prominently displayed, said Daniel Schulz, Deutsche Welle’s Asia distribution manager.
Chairman of Cinepax Group Arif BaigMohamed said, “Partnering with a reputable broadcaster like DW has been a pleasant journey thus far. The concepts they emphasize in their series are similar to the ones we want to spread.
“We take great satisfaction in showcasing our nation and its people on STARZPLAY and are confident that everyone will really enjoy #PakistanIs season 2.”
By visiting www.starzplay.pk or by downloading the STARZPLAY app, which is accessible on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, viewers in Pakistan may stream the second season of #PakistanIs.
This year, keep an eye out for further partnerships, global releases, and significant changes on the STARZPLAY app and website.
