For the next winter, the PTCL Group, which includes Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited and Ufone 4G, has donated 3,000 warm jackets to assist the Balochistan communities impacted by the recent floods.
The jackets were given to the Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP) to distribute to the flood-affected families in the areas of Orak, Panjpai, Kechi Baig in Quetta, Ajram, Surkhab/Niganda & Tuba Kakari/Ibrahim Khan in Pishin, and Shna Khwara and Nasai in Killa Saifullah to protect them from the bitter cold.
PTCL Group is aware that the situation of flood-affected people has been made worse by the extreme winters. Women, children, and the elderly have been finding it difficult to protect themselves from the cold and winter illnesses, said Group Director PR, CSR & Corporate Communication, PTCL & Ufone, in response to the initiative. Because of the great difficulty of the situation, we must help those who are affected.
