PITB, JS Bank Sign MoU to Boost Entrepreneurship Among Youth

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and JS Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday. The MoU was signed between Sajid Latif  (PITB DG e-Governance) and Najeeb Ahmad (Head of Special Asset Management at JS Bank) on Tuesday. There were several other prominent people who were also present at the ceremony namely Chaudhry Ahmad Islam (PITB Head of Freelancing Wing), Khushnuma Jamal (JS Bank Product Manager-Digital Financial Services), Mahnoor Ikram, and several other people from both organizations.

The PITB DG eGov also spoke at the occasion saying that Punjab Information Technology Board has trained over 30, 000 freelancers in Pakistan,

“We plan to train a minimum of 100,000 freelancers by the end of this year”

Najeeb Ahmad from JS bank also spoke on the ceremony and expressed his happiness on the partnership,

“This specially designed solution offers registered freelancers complete fee waiver on ATM withdrawals, specified international e-commerce payments, Inter Bank Fund Transfer (IBFT) and account maintenance fee.”

The collaboration will help to provide the freelancer’s community with provision of Freelancer Current Account/Home Remittance Current Account.
