Pakistan’s Denim Garments Exports to US Surpasses China


The worldwide media statistics have released data that states that Pakistan has successfully overtaken China in denim garment exports to the United States (US). An increase of 63.4% has been seen this year as compared to the same period last year. According to sources, the Pakistani garment exports were almost $276 million during the period January – September 2021 which overtook China’s $274.63 million.

This outcome dispute the pandemic is a huge success for the Pakistani garment export industry.  Moreover, it has also paved the way for Biden’s government to conduct business with Pakistan with better policies.

According to OTEXA data, during the first 9 months of 2021 US market has imported denim clothing worth $2.54 billion, noting a 28.56 percent surge on a year-on-year basis.
