Pakistani Female Featured in Forbes ‘Next 1000 List’


A Pakistani woman, Mariam Nusrat, has been featured in the Forbes “Next 1000 List”. This list includes names of startups and businesses that generate less than $10 million in revenue and have massive potential for growth. Being part of the list is a great honor for the young and inspiring Mariam Nusrat who has graduated from LUMS and George Washington University. She is currently residing in the US and is the owner fo the company “GRID” – Gaming Revolution for Inspiring Development.

Her selection at the Forbes Next 1000 List is a great milestone and has put her amongst entrepreneurs who are redefining the meaning of business amidst the pandemic.

The young entrepreneur has also bagged a number of prestigious awards as well such as the Clinton Global Initiative University Alum Award, DC Inno 50 on Fire Award, Andrew Rice Award, the GWU Best Social Venture Prize, and UN PeaceApp prize.
