Alibaba Group took an initiative to bring local businesses on board and held a Pakistan Seller Summit in Sialkot.
The title of the summit was “Unlock Business Growth Code – Nonstop business opportunity with export e-commerce”.
The aim of the meetup was to bring the businesses on this platform for growth and development. Business leaders from the community, experts from Alibaba Team, trade associations members attended the engaging discussions. Daraz will be offering extended services to uplift the businesses affected by Covid – 19 and will assist the growth and capacity building. Alibaba group has assisted SME’s in Sialkot and has uplifted the sellers who have been making good profits.
Shabina Gillani Vice president of Sialkot chamber of commerce stated: “This event promises to empower local businesses, by nurturing e-commerce in Pakistan by enabling global accessibility and nurturing e-commerce in Pakistan. This summit has achieved great milestones for recruiting new SME business to join Alibaba.”
