The US-based eCommerce giant, Amazon, added Pakistan to its approved seller’s list earlier this month. According to reports the state-run mailing enterprise, Pakistan Post, will function as Amazon’s official delivery partner.

The director-general of Pakistan Post has ordered to finalize the proceedings as soon as possible. The duties have been assigned to all officials operating in Pakistan including Lahore. Moreover, Pakistan Post officials are directed to establish facilitation centers in 9 major cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, and Sialkot by mid-June as per government directions. Moreover, Pakistan Post has also emphasized the need to draft contracts with companies that work in correspondence with Amazon abroad.
Pakistan has been added to Amazon’s seller list only a few weeks ago. The development was seen as a major boost for the countries economy. Moreover, it is a great opportunity for Pakistani sellers to sell their products abroad.
