Pakistan Pavilion Shines Through at Dubai Expo 2020

The Pakistan pavilion saw as many as 8000 people on the first day of the Dubai Expo 2020. The colorful pavilion is marked by the rich and beautiful Pakistani culture. Visitors who come by can visit the eight sections of the pavilion. It offers a glimpse into the vibrant colors of Pakistan, along with the beautifully crafted handicrafts, the beautiful landscape, and great food.

Abdul Razak Dawood, advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce & Investment and a Federal Minister, toured the pavilion and stayed there till the evening. According to the lead programming and marketing at Pakistan Pavilion, Afroz Abro,

“The opening day was much more busy than we expected. While during the day we recorded a good attendance of 5,000 people, by evening the crowd had swelled up and we recorded visits of around 8,000 excited people from around the world.”

Mr. Abro also stated that they received a great response from people who appreciated all the aspects of the pavilion including the vibrant bazaar, the customer made “dhaba”. He added that the pavilion was a great opportunity for people to see the wonderful Pakistani culture

“After taking their reviews, we were happy to learn that coming to our pavilion dispelled many misconceptions and doubts they had about Pakistan, due to some false information they got from unreliable sources. By physically coming to the Pakistan pavilion they said they experienced the real Pakistan.”

Some of the prominent partners that made the Pakistan pavilion a huge success include HBL,  Pepsico, Khaadi, GulAhmed, National Foods, PEL, Coca-Cola, UBL, Bank Alfalah, NBP, Engro. Unilever, Toyota, Atlas Honda, K&N’s, Interloop, and many more are on the list.

The Dubai expo is a worthwhile event that integrates cultures and values from around the world. The expo stretches over a period of 6 months and gives countries a platform to showcase their abilities to the world and become even better. With 192 international countries taking part in the event there are more than 25 million people who are expected to be part of the pavilion.
