The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has introduced the first first-ever fund for KP startups known as the KP Seed Fund. The KP fund is divided into 4 tiers:
Tier 1: Up to PKR 3 million
Tier 2: Up to PKR 5 million
Tier 3: Up to PKR 15 million
Tier 4: Up to PKR 25 million

Additional to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB), the KP Seed Fund is also backed by the World Bank, Multi-Donor Trust Fund, and is executed by Epiphany. The KP Seed Fund will be disbursed as equity-free grants in KP-based businesses. The Fund’s primary objective is to help grow the startup ecosystem in KP, especially women-led businesses as well as develop the investment eco-system in the province.
KPITB is encouraging both female-led and male-led startups are encouraged to apply, especially women-owned, women-led, and women-focused startups.
Entrepreneurs in KP are encouraged to apply for this program to present their entrepreneurial ideas and innovative products and to compete for funding to scale their initiatives.
