Karandaaz Launches “Women Ventures” to Support Female Entrepreneurs

In an effort to support female entrepreneurs Karandaaz Pakistan has launched ‘Women Ventures’ (WV). The initiative will provide funds up to Rs 35 million to women who wish to grow their businesses. This venture will be offering support to businesses of all kinds who have a passion to grow. Other than providing financial support Karandaaz Pakistan will also be providing training sessions, and other sessions to groom these businesses even more.

Through this effort, Karandaaz aims to encourage women to step into the world of entrepreneurship and prosper in this field. Women who have 50% shareholding in the business and play a key role in the managerial activity can apply for this role. Moreover, the business should be operating for more than three years and have had a revenue of 5 million in the past year.

‘Women Ventures’  is an initiative that is funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO), The FCDO aims to encourage females to participate in the economy of the country to help generate employment in Pakistan.
