JS Bank, TPL Life Ink Deal to Distribute Global Health Coverage

Pakistan’s JS Bank and TPL Life Insurance have recently signed a partnership to hand out global health coverage to JS Bank clients. The initiative comes under the program “Global Shield” which is powered by AXA.  The program provides health and medical benefits to people around the globe including assistance to inpatient and outpatient hospitalization.

The features of the Global Shield include round-the-clock virtual healthcare support, a health manager, virtual consultations, along rates of your choice. JS Bank is the first in Pakistan to have adopted the Global Shield program. Present at the agreement signing were Ali Pesnani, group head Retail Banking JS Bank, and Faisal Abbasi, CEO TPL Life, Basir Shamsie, President & CEO JS Bank, and Ali Jameel, board member TPL Group.

Ali Pesnani spoke at the ceremony stating,

“As our business continues to expand rapidly, value-added services such as Global Shield with TPL Life is a perfect platform given their international alliance with AXA Insurance. This collaboration will not only enhance our customer experience but also reflects our commitment towards their wellbeing.”

Faisal Abbasi expressed his delight at the event,

 “We are delighted about this collaboration with JS bank and feel that our product will further enable the Bank to better serve its private banking customers with this one-of-a-kind, high-end insurance product. We look forward to working upon a lot of other synergies between the two entities.”
