Instagram is launching its own post scheduler to allow businesses and creators to plan their posts in advance by selecting the post time and date.
This in-app feature will render third-party apps offering similar services like Meta’s Creator Studio, insignificant.
Businesses and creators would be able to schedule Reels, photos, and carousels up to 75 days in advance. The feature was successfully tested before being rolled out globally to the Instagram community.
Users will be able to access the feature by creating a post but instead of publishing, they will go to Advanced Settings and turn the toggle on for Schedule this Post. Furthermore, after selecting the date and time, they can go back to the post they were creating and click Schedule. Scheduled posts can be viewed on the hamburger menu.
Moreover, Instagram hasn’t yet mentioned if the feature will be rolled out to other ordinary users. The company has also launched achievement options for creators every time they collaborate with another creator, make quizzes, etc.
Instagram is a photo and video-sharing social networking service owned by the American company Meta Platforms. The app allows users to upload media that can be edited with filters and organized by hashtags and geographical tagging. Posts can be shared publicly or with preapproved followers.
