Foodpanda has launched a license renewal exercise for its riders, beginning with its riders hubs in Lahore, to continue servicing its loyal customers and riders around the country. Arrangements for this were made at rider hubs in Lahore. With hundreds of foodpanda fleet riders engaging in these events every day, the activities highlighted the platform and the opportunity it provides for diverse stakeholders.
Foodpanda is proud to be a responsible corporate organization following local laws, rules, regulations, and community norms. With driving permits being a vital element of the work that foodpanda riders conduct, the organization places the highest premium on having them equipped with appropriate documentation.
In this sense, the platform assumes responsibility for facilitating license issues and renewal for the whole fleet.
The action in Lahore, which accounts for a significant portion of Foodpanda’s local footprint, is essential in ensuring that all required standards for safe delivery are followed. Over 100 riders had their required documentation certified under applicable traffic laws during the two-day license renewal program. The event, held in partnership with the City Traffic Police of Lahore, also saw new riders awarded learner licenses, which can be converted to permanent ones after 45 days.
The campaign will be carried out in other cities with the backing of relevant municipal authorities to assure legality and acceptance. Foodpanda has always been at the forefront of transforming the market it serves, and the driver’s license renewal campaign is another example of ongoing efforts toward this end goal.
