foodpanda is collaborates with USAID SMEA to train home chefs and educate them.foodpanda have always been on the mission of empowering the community and building an ecosystem for home chefs to participate and earn at the comfort of their home.
To further carryout its vision foodpanda collaborated with USAID SMEA in order to train home chefs and empower them for the future. As part of this collaboration, an extensive three-day Culinary and Kitchen Management training was organized at the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (COTHM) Lahore.
The session was attended by 22 home chefs. The training carried out to teach all the essential skills that home chef requires. The activities involves; menu planning, packing, temperature management for food delivery. The participation of women evident vision of foodpanda of creating opportunities for women and empowering them.
“This is foodpanda and USAID SMEA’s third successful collaboration. We partnered during the peak of Covid-19 to impart virtual trainings to women across Pakistan on key topics like ’Online Business Management & Marketing’ and ‘Food Handling during Covid-19 Pandemic’,” said Binte Fatima Rizvi, Head of Partnerships for Home chefs.
foodpanda is expanding entrepreneurship of the country by providing opportunities to home chefs. The opportunities are evidencing the future plans of foodpanda of expanding home chef’s network and building the economy of country.
