Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq is the Chief Executive at Roots Millennium Schools and is also a member of the Board of Roots School System, Pakistan. Alongside, he is also the Founder and CEO at Change in Education (CIE) which is a social enterprise and works in support of Public-Private Partnerships across education. The CIE initiative has helped to scale Millennium Development Goals (MDGs’) and has been able to reform more than 250 government schools in Pakistan.
Along with his multiple achievements, Faisal Mushtaq is one of the youngest Pakistanis to have been honored with the National Civil Award of ‘Tamgha-i-Imtiaz by the President of Pakistan. The award was given to Mr. Faisal to acknowledge his achievements in the field of education, youth, entrepreneurship & promotion of the Chinese Language across Pakistan. It is due to his efforts that there are more than 5000 Pakistanis who are learning mandarin at Roots Millineum Schools.
Mr. Faisal has also been nominated as a member of the Prime Minister’s Youth committee on Vision 2025. He has gained immense popularity for his dedication and his pursuit of education, digital literacy, social entrepreneurship, and engaging the youth.
Recently, the young educationist has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Education Degree by one of the UK’s top universities, Hertfordshire. The award was given to him during a special ceremony that took place at the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Alban in England. The award is truly an honor for Pakistan and another feather in the cap for the already outstanding, Mr. Fasial Mushtaq.
