Pang Chunxue, Charge d’Affaires of the People’s Republic of China Embassy in Washington, said Thursday that China is dedicated to developing the CPEC projects.
Having the goal of shared prosperity would further enhance and expand economic cooperation between China and Pakistan.
Ms. Pang met with Miftah Ismail, Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, in the Finance Division. The finance minister greeted the visitor warmly and emphasized Pakistan and China’s strong friendship and fraternal connections.
In reference to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPCE), the Federal Minister stated that the corridor will play a vital role in propelling Pakistan’s economy ahead while also strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations. He also expressed his complete support for the help.
The Chinese Charge de Affaires reaffirmed China’s commitment to advancing the CPEC projects and guaranteed full government support and collaboration.
The finance minister and Ms. Pang discussed how they intended to further develop their bilateral collaboration in a number of areas. The finance minister gave his entire backing and cooperation to Chinese investors and businesspeople in his final remarks.
