In a recent development, the Singaporean-based Fintech company, Thunes announced its partnership with Bank Alfalah. The partnership was announced on the 27th of August and will enable real-time payments across the border to be made to consumers in Pakistan. Moreover, customers using Thune’s services will also be able to make real-time payments to Pakistanis with a bank account which also includes Bank Alfalah clients.

The collaboration will make a significant difference to migrant families who are outside the country. The Global Head of Network at Thunes, Andrew Stewart, rejoices at the collaboration saying that the partnership will help in delivering a seamless money transfer experience. Moreover, he also added on,
“… Improving financial ties between Pakistan and the rest of the world, and staying true to our vision: providing accessible, transparent and affordable payments.”
Bank Alfalah’s group head of corporate, investment banking, and international business, Saad Ur Rahman Khan, also shared his views on the occasion saying that the deal will be a deal changer and provide an efficient way to transfer money to all bank accounts in Pakistan in real-time.
